ACC at PV
families and staff celebrate Chinese New Year
More than 200 family and staff members of the Academy of Culture
and Communication at Pleasant Valley celebrated the Chinese New
Year on January 23 with an evening filled with fun activities
and events. There was something for everyone.
"It was really
nice to see everyone come together for a fun event," said Brian
Cotterell, teacher and planner of the Chinese New Year event.
"It gave our PV Players Performing Arts Club the chance to tie
this year's play, Mulan, Jr. into a family-based after
school activity." Mulan, Jr. will premiere in May.
Cotterell
offerED a warm thank you to the school staff who "helped out in
making it happen." He also expressed his gratitude to
First China for providing an assortment of Chinese food.
"It was thoroughly enjoyed by all," he said.
"Gung Hay Fat
Choy" to all from the staff and students at the Academy of
Culture and Communication at Pleasant Valley.
