stories, news, alerts, reminders. You will also find all
teacher email addresses, school and administrative contacts as
well as the breakfast and lunch menus, important forms, a
calendar of district wide and school events, district
initiatives, community programs, job postings, student and
parent resources and much, much more. If you're looking for
something that is not on the website, please email

Direct
Parents can receive e-news updates, stories and reminders by
logging on to the website and registering for e-news Direct.
The link is located on the right hand side of the district
homepage - or - you can send an email to
coronak@schenectady.k12.ny.us.
Families who receive
e-News also receive last minute alerts such as "No School due to
the Weather," delays, cancellations and more.

Newsletter
The Schenectady City School District sends an e-news
Community Newsletter bi-weekly. If you would like to receive
the newsletter, please log on to the district website, follow
the community link and click on the "Community Together e-news
request" or send an email to
coronak@schenectady.k12.ny.us.
This newsletter also includes community updates,
reminders and calendar of events. If you have any information
you would like posted, please email the address above.
City-wide
Newsletter
Every home in the city of Schenectady receives a district
newsletter through the mail at least four times per year. The
mailing reaches more than 35,000 homes offering updates on the
district, news and reminders.
SHS Parent
Newsletter
All parents of Schenectady High School students receive
periodic newsletters in the mail. This publication includes
updates on important topics, college information, reminders and
more.
School
Newsletters
Each Schenectady School produces its own monthly
newsletter. Elementary and middle school newsletters go home
with the students at the beginning of each month. High school
house newsletters are mailed to the student's home.
News and
Notes
News and Notes are delivered to community agencies,
churches, groups throughout Schenectady usually twice a month.
The two page newsletter includes district reminders and updates
from around the district and the community.
SCS-TV 17
The Schenectady City School District has its own television
on channel 17 Time Warner Cablevision in Schenectady. The
station displays a calendar of events, daily reminders and airs
student-produced programming and more.

Continuing
Education Newsletter
Three newsletters are mailed to all city residents.
The newsletter provides information on continuing education
courses as well information on the district aquatics programs.
The newsletter also includes registration information and
deadlines.
