Hall of Fame Event
The Peter Famiano Memorial Golf Tournament
What:
The fourth annual golf tournament will be part of the 2011 SCSD
Athletic Hall of Fame festivities. This event will once again
be in honor of Peter Famiano. Pete was a member of Linton’s NYS
championship golf team in 1960 and the NYS Junior champion in
1961. He is a member of the NJ PGA Hall of Fame & the SCSD
Athletic Hall of Fame. Proceeds will be used to continue a
college scholarship in Pete’s memory for a student-athlete at
Schenectady H.S.
When:
Sunday, September 11, 2011; sign-up & continental breakfast at
8:00 AM; scramble with a shotgun start at 9:00 AM
Where:
Schenectady Municipal Golf Course,
Oregon Ave. (518-382-5155)
Cost:
$300/foursome – includes green fees, cart, continental breakfast
and buffet following golf; (This year there will be gross & net
winners. Foursomes must include handicap for each golfer. If
handicap is not available, please approximate.)
