Hamilton Class Adopts Plot in Garden

Project offers
many lessons

Kristopher Crandall's class at Hamilton Elementary School adopted a plot in the Cutler Street Community Garden this spring.  The students tilled, weeded, planted seeds, seedlings and plants.  In addition to learning how to work together to care for a garden, the class also had the opportunity to observe the growing cycle of the plants.  The lessons will continue as the class adopted the garden through November, giving them time to nurture and observe fall crops.
