Disaster Relief Effort
Helping our colleagues

The Schenectady City School District and our employee associations are collaborating to assist our fellow employees who have been significantly impacted by the recent flooding.

You may or may not know that some of our employees have not only lost their possessions but some have lost their homes due to extreme flooding.

Employees across the district have expressed interest in coming together to help those who have suffered such loss.

The district has set up a Disaster Relief Fund to which you can make contributions.

If you wish to contribute to the fund, you can write a check payable to "Schenectady City School District Disaster Relief Effort" or you can contribute through payroll deduction.  Simply fill out the attached sheet indicating how much you would like deducted.  You can make one payment or multiple payroll deductions.  Remember, every little bit helps.

The district and association leadership will respond to those in need.

Thank you.
