District
transportation supervisor
earns professional certification
Congratulations
to Lisa Farmer, Schenectady School District Transportation
Supervisor, who recently earned professional certification from
the New York
State Association for Pupil Transportation.
Farmer who
scored 96% on the certification exam will receive a certificate
at NYAPT's summer conference.
"You should
feel proud of your accomplishment," wrote Peter F. Mannella,
executive director of NYAPT in a letter. Farmer is
authorized to use "N.Y.C.D.T.," which stands for New York
Certified Director of Transportation, next to her name in any
official correspondence.
Farmer is
required to attain at least 30 hour of professional development
over the next three years as well as apply for recertification.
