2018-2019 Annual Health Insurance Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment

At Open Enrollment eligible employees may enroll and/or make changes to their current health insurance plan elections (in accordance with union contracts). Open enrollment will run from September 10, 2018 through September 27, 2018 and any change in coverage will be effective October 1, 2018.  These benefit elections will remain in effect until your next open enrollment period, unless you experience a qualifying life event.

Making Changes in OneLink Benefit Portal

If you want to make a change to your benefit elections, log into the OneLink benefits portal at the following site:  OneLink Login.  You will be required to enter your username and password to access the site, which are the same as what you set up for your new hire enrollment or for last open enrollment.  If you have forgotten your username and/or your password, the attached instructions provide step by step directions for finding your username and resetting your password.  Once logged in, select the “Start Benefits” button on your home page to begin the open enrollment process.

Health Plan Information

All health insurance information (medical and dental plans offered and premium rates) can be found in OneLink and on the Schenectady City School District web site.  Employees looking for lower cost options are encouraged to review the Patriot Red and Patriot Blue plans. 

Necessary Action

If you wish to remain with your current health insurance plan – no action is needed.  If no changes are requested,  your current coverage will continue.
