Welcome to the Development Office

Suzanne DeWald is the development officer.   Although it is a small office, the development office performs important roles for the district including:

• Developing and writing larger competitive grant proposals for federal, state, foundation and corporate funding sources.  (Generally proposals greater than $25,000)
   

• Developing collaborative partnerships to enhance funding opportunities for the district
   

• Disseminating grant source information to potential applicants
   

• Reviewing grant applications submitted on behalf of others in the district (teachers, principals, etc.)
   

• Providing technical assistance and support to teachers and other staff preparing grant proposals
   

• Reviewing potential grant partnerships with other agencies that involve the district
   

• Providing technical support to grant program administrators as needed.
