The Targeted Academic Programs task force focused primarily on the best practices, research, program development, instructional practices, staff development and other issues related to the special needs of all learners.  This task force looked at both ends of the educational spectrum from the International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement programs to the Life Skills program, with a concentration on  meeting the program needs of gifted and challenged students regardless of their special gifts, needs and challenges.
